Environment Monitor Interface

In this user interface, you can query and configure the interface parameters for a board. In addition, you can query the ambient temperature and the input voltage.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select a board and choose Configuration > Environment Monitor Configuration > Environment Monitor Interface from the Function Tree.

Description

Operation Object

  • Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: NE name-shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name
  • Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: NE name-slot number-board name

Displays the environment monitoring board.

Basic Attributes

Relay Control Mode

Auto Control, Manual Control

There are two options: Auto Control and Manual Control. In Auto Control mode, the corresponding alarm relay will be automatically opened when an alarm occurs and closed if there is no alarm. In Manual Control mode, you need to set the status of alarm relay K0 and K1. K0 is the minor alarm switching and K1 is the critical alarm switching.

Relay Status in Major Alarm (K0)

Enabled, Disabled

Displays the switching selection for common alarm relay. The relay is turned on when the option is selected, and off when the option is not selected. It can be set only when the alarm relay is manually controlled.

Relay Status in Critical Alarm (K1)

Enabled, Disabled

Displays the switching selection for critical alarm relay. The relay is turned on when the option is selected, and off when the option is not selected. It can be set only when the alarm relay is manually controlled.

Whether to Use the Second Input Power

Used, Unused

Sets whether to provide the second input power supply for NE to use. Options: Yes, No. Select according to whether a second input power supply is connected to the cabinet.

Input Relay

Using Status

Used, Unused

Sets the use status of the input relay.

Alarm Mode

Relay Turns Off, Relay Turns On

Queries or sets the alarm mode for the input relay.

Temperature Attributes

Monitor Status

Monitor, No Monitor

Sets monitor status of the temperature attributes.

Temperature Upper Threshold (Deg.C)

For example: 65.0

Sets the upper temperature threshold. When the actual temperature is higher than this threshold, a temperature alarm is generated.

Temperature Lower Threshold (Deg.C)

For example: 0.0

Sets the lower temperature threshold. When the actual temperature is lower than this threshold, a temperature alarm is generated.

Current Temperature (Deg.C)

For example: 30.0

Displays the current internal temperature of the equipment detected by the PMU board.

DIP Switch

DIP Switch Name

-

Queries and sets the name of the DIP switch.

DIP Switch State

-

Queries the status of DIP switch on the PMU.

Input Voltage Attributes

Input Voltage Level (V)

48 V, 60 V

Queries the power voltage value.

Input Voltage Alarm Monitoring Lower Threshold (V)

For example: 60.0

Sets the lower alarm threshold of the input voltage.

Input Voltage Alarm Monitoring Upper Threshold (V)

For example: 45.0

Sets the upper alarm threshold of the input voltage.
