LT Test

You can perform a link trace (LT) check on Ethernet services to check the MIP information in the link for locating and handling faults.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select a board and choose Configuration > Ethernet Maintenance > Ethernet Service OAM from the Function Tree. Right-click a record, and choose Start LT from the shortcut menu.

Displays the source MP in the LT test.

Sink MP ID

For example: 00-00-0003

Displays the sink MP in the LT test.

Responding MP MAC

For example: 00-21-97-02-59-12

Displays the responded MP in the LT test.

Responding MP Type MEP, MIP, Unknown

Default: Unknown

The Responding MP Type (Ethernet LT Test) parameter specifies the type of the responding maintenance point in each LT test.
Hop Count

For example: 1

The Hop Count (Ethernet LT Test) parameter specifies the number of hops from the maintenance source endpoint to an maintenance intermediate point, namely, the number of responding intermediate points from the maintenance source point to a certain responding point.
Test Result Succeeded, Failed The Test Result (LB and LT Test) parameter specifies the result derived from the LB or LT test each time.
