Optical Power Management

In this user interface, you can manage optical power for boards, and set optical power reference value.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select a board and choose Configuration > Optical Power Management from the Function Tree.

Description

Port/Path

Displays the port information. For example: NE75-Shelf1(slave shelf5)-1-LOE-1(IN1/OUT1)-1

Input Power(dBm)

Displays the optical power value of the receiving port.

Double-click this item to set the optical power of the receiving port.

Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm)

Displays the lower threshold of Input Power(dBm).

If the value of Input Power(dBm) is smaller than this value, an alarm is generated.

Min. Value of Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm)

Displays the minimum value of Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm).

The value of Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm) must be greater than or equal to this value.

Max. Value of Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm)

Displays the maximum value of Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm).

The value of Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm) must be smaller than or equal to this value.

Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm)

Displays the upper threshold of Input Power(dBm).

If the value of Input Power(dBm) is greater than this value, an alarm is generated.

Min. Value of Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm)

Displays the minimum value of Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm).

The value of Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm) must be greater than or equal to this value.

Max. Value of Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm)

Displays the maximum value of Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm).

The value of Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm) must be smaller than or equal to this value.

CFP Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm)

Sets the lower threshold of CFP input power.

If the value of input power is smaller than this value, an alarm is generated.

Min. Value of CFP Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm)

Displays the minimum value of CFP Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm).

The value of CFP Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm) must be greater than or equal to this value.

Max. Value of CFP Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm)

Displays the maximum value of CFP Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm).

The value of CFP Input Power Lower Threshold(dBm) must be smaller than or equal to this value.

CFP Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm)

Sets the upper threshold of CFP input power.

If the value of input power is greater than this value, an alarm is generated.

Min. Value of CFP Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm)

Displays the minimum value of CFP Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm).

The value of CFP Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm) must be greater than or equal to this value.

Max. Value of CFP Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm)

Displays the maximum value of CFP Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm).

The value of CFP Input Power Upper Threshold(dBm) must be smaller than or equal to this value.

Max. Pump Output Power (dBm)

Displays the maximum value of pump output optical power.

Min. Pump Output Power (dBm)

Displays the minimum value of pump output optical power.

Output Power(dBm)

Displays the optical power value of the transmitting port.

Double-click this item to set the optical power of the transmitting port.

CFP Current Valley Input Power(dBm)

Query the minimum single-wavelength input optical power of the current channel on the CFP module.

CFP Current Peak Input Power(dBm)

Query the max single-wavelength input optical power of the current channel on the CFP module.
