In this user interface, you can query and set an NE to serve as terminal system or Layer 1 or Layer 2 router in OSI communications.
In the NE Explorer, select from the Function Tree, click the Network Layer Parameters tab.
Modifying the configuration role causes the NE to reset and the service may be interrupted. The modification takes effect after the NE is reset.
