Access Control

This function can enable or disable the of the NE interface board port, and this channel is used to communicate with the network management system (NM) or the gateway NE and transfer the NM information.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Communication > Access Control from the Function Tree.

After checked the box and applied, the OAM port of the NE is allowed to access the NM or Command Line.

When checked and applied, the serial port access takes effect.

Access Command Line

IN the Serial Port Access Control section, when clicked, the serial port allows access for a command line terminal.

IN the OAM Access Control section, when clicked, the OAM port allows access for a command line terminal.

Access NM

IN the Serial Port Access Control section, when clicked, the serial port allows access for the U2000 Web LCT.

IN the OAM Access Control section, when clicked, the OAM port allows access for the U2000 Web LCT.

AC external power supply

Checked, Unchecked

When clicked, the serial port allows access for the AC external power.

Outdoor cabinet power supply

Checked, Unchecked

When clicked, the serial port allows access for outdoor cabinet power.

Baud Rate

1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200

The rate of serial port communication. This parameter is available when the Enable Serial Port Access check box is checked.

Port

  • Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name-port number
  • Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: slot number-board name-port number-port type

Displays the port name.

Port Type

For Example: Physical Port

Displays the port type.

Status

UP, Down

Displays the status of U2000 Web LCT port and EXT port.

Enabled/Disabled

Disabled, Enabled

Sets the status of the port.

Work Mode

Adapt, Auto-Negotiation, 10M Half_Duplex, 10M Full_Duplex, 100M Half_Duplex, 100M Full_Duplex, 1000M Half_Duplex, 1000M Full_Duplex, 10G Full_Duplex LAN, 10G Full_Duplex WAN

Select the working mode of the Ethernet port. The auto-negotiation mode is recommended, because it can automatically find out the best working mode to combine a port and its interconnected port and thus is convenient for maintenance.

Be careful to configure the same working mode for the port and its interconnected port. Otherwise, service will fail.

Actual Work Mode

Adapt, Auto_Negotiation, 10M Half_Duplex, 10M Full_Duplex, 100M Half_Duplex, 100M Full_Duplex, 1000M Half_Duplex, 1000M Full_Duplex, 10G Full_Duplex LAN, 10G Full_Duplex WAN, Negotiating

Displays the actual working mode.
