Proxy ARP

In this user interface, you can enable or disable the ARP proxy.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, choose Communication > IP Protocol Stack Management from the Function Tree. Click Proxy ARP tab.

NOTE:

When an NE sends an ARP request to an isolated port within the same netowrk, or to an NE in another netowrk, the ARP request is forwarded by the equipment that has the proxy ARP function.

Parameters

Field	Value	Description
Attribute	Proxy ARP	Displays the name of attribute.
Value	Enabled, Disabled	Enables or disables the ARP proxy.
