Setting the Orderwire Board

Before you configure the orderwire functions, set the orderwire board first.

It applies to the OptiX BWS 1600S T16 NEs.

The EOW board must be created.

The orderwire can be used only when the orderwire board is configured with the NE.

You can also set one orderwire channel for an SC1 or SC2 board that does not serve as an orderwire board.

In the NE Explorer, click the NE and choose Configuration > Orderwire from the Function Tree. Click the Orderwire Board Settings tab.
Click Query to query the NE-side information.
Select a board from the Available Boards pane in the Orderwire Board Settings group box and click .
NOTE:
- Selected board serves as the selected board of the first orderwire.
Click Apply.
