In the case of two NEs without a fiber connection, you can configure the express orderwire to provide the maintenance personnel with an express orderwire channel between the NEs.
Prerequisites
The SCC board must be created on the SLM 1630 V100R001.
The LSCC board must be created on the SLM 1630 V100R002.
Two NEs must be connected through serial ports and by a telephone line.
Procedure
- In the NE Explorer, click an NE and choose from the Function Tree. Click the Auxiliary tab.
- Click Query to query information from the NE.
- Set the SDH NNI Connection.
NOTE: - Use a serial port line to connect the communication ports and a telephone line to connect the phone ports between two NEs. You can select only Phone 2 as the first phone port, and only Phone 3 as the second phone port.
- The communication ports of the two interconnected NEs must be of the same type.
- The first and second SDH NNI connections on an NE are independent from each other. Therefore, an NE can provide SDH NNI connections to two other NEs at the same time.
- The auxiliary attributes configuration items of different equipment differ with each other to some extent. Hence, the selected communication port and phone port must be consistent with the actual equipment.
- Click Apply.
- Repeat Step 1 through Step 4 to configure the orderwire at another station.
