Logging In to the Web LCT

You can log in to the Web LCT server through the Internet Explorer on the local computer.

Prerequisites

  • The Web LCT server must be started correctly.
  • The pop-up blocker of Internet Explorer must be turned off.

Context

  • The Web LCT server whose default IP address is 127.0.0.1 can be accessed only on the local computer.
  • By default, if three incorrect passwords are entered consecutively, the associated user account will be locked by the Web LCT. The Web LCT will unlock the user account in 5 minutes.

  • If the user password has expired or will expire in 10 days or a shorter period, the Web LCT prompts the user to change the password as soon as possible when the user logs in.

  • By default, if the Web LCT is left inactive for 15 minutes during NE data configuration, the Web LCT login page is displayed automatically. You need to log in again.

Procedure

  1. Open the Internet Explorer.
  2. Enter the IP address of the Web LCT server in the address field. The Web LCT Login dialog box is displayed.

    NOTE:
    • Enter the IP address of the server, for example, https://127.0.0.1:13443/weblct. The four octets 127.0.0.1 is the access address of the server computer and 13443 is the port number.
    • The IP address of the Web LCT server is case-sensitive, make sure that weblct is entered correctly.

  3. Enter the Password.

    NOTE:

    By default, the user name is admin, and the initial password is Changeme_123. To protect the Web LCT from illegal logins, you need to instantly change this password and keep the new one.

  4. Enter the Verification Code.
  5. Click Login. The NE List is displayed.

    NOTE:

    For globle NEs, an NE supports the login of a single Web LCT user at a time. No concurrent logins of several Web LCT users is supported on an NE.

    For NA NEs, concurrent logins of several Web LCT users is supported on an NE.

Follow-up Procedure

  • To ensure user security, click after logging in to the Web LCT and set password and account polices in the Set Security Policy dialog box. For details, see the Set Security Policy.
  • To ensure user security, click after setting the security policies and change the password in the Changing Password dialog box. For details, see the Changing Password.
